Hi Darlene, It is a pleasure meeting you through our postcard swap. Everyones creativity is so inspiring. I wanted to mention that I just read an article in our local paper about a photographer who went through cancer and a bone marrow transplant. He is having an exhibit of his photographs at a local museum, along with a catalog of his photos, journal entries and poems he wrote. He is going to donate portions of the sales to a bone marrow registry. His exhibit included photo's of meal trays, iv drips, etc. A quote of him in the paper said...
ReplyDelete"Taking pictures gave me a place to put all the confusing, chaotic, unpredictable forces that were working on me."
I hope that your photography will give you pleasure and be an outlet for you as well.
Will say a prayer for you and think lots of positive thoughts..
Darlene, cudos to you for stepping up and sharing your journey. It looks like you have some wonderful support!! Best wishes as you move forward - one day at a time. Thanks for visiting my blog and I am sending healing energy your way!!
