Yesterday I got good news that my mamo and sonogram were clear - that's a good thing for someone with Triple negative Breast cancer. I felt the love when I posted this on FB
I am a warrior and will continue to on my journey to take photos and inspire as many people as I can
I left my story from the Fort Mill Magazine and Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine at the Complete women's center in hopes that someone is inspired.
Today I am saying prayers for my Aunt Polly that all is ok with her - she had to go have biopsy on back 2 lymph nodes were swollen. She had Breast Cancer over 25 years ago and has been fine since.

pet sitting, art class and editing a my story for a magazine
I was pet sitting last week for Lady a 14 yr old rat terrier - who looked for her family the whole time I was there. this is a photo of me and lady - she didn't want her photo taken and kept looking down
My friend Joy came to visit on Aug 25th to go to Long Beach with me. I got to take a class in making polymer clay necklaces - I made all 4 of the necklaces below.
I am having my journey of being a photographer with breast cancer published in 2 magazines. One is my hometown magazine Fort Mill Magazine and the other is Breast Cancer wellness magazine.
I am not a writer so it was hard for me to find the words to put on paper and then trying to go through the photos I have taken over the last year was a challenge.
I am hoping the articles look good and make sense.

My 500 word story
I just sent my story off to my hometown magazine - Fort Mill Magazine. I wrote 500 words about my journey with Breast Cancer and how being a photographer helped me. I had alot to say so 500 words was not easy and then choosing photos to go with story - I took so many photos along my journey - below are just a few. My story isn't special - I am just hoping to inspire people to be happy even at the toughest point in their lives.
The blur I felt while doing my first BC walk - I was still going through chemo treatments at this time.
I colored my hair pink after my 3rd chemo treatment but it fell out so quickly I had it shaved off the saved day
These are some of the handouts you get about the treatments you will be going through
I went to the beach to take photos one day
this is me from December 3, 2011 I had finished chemo and was pet sitting when I did this self portrait.
