Who’s Better Than Me?

I joined Comedian, Life Coach, and Author Nancy Witter and a group of women for Ladies night out at Garden city Casino for the event “Who’s Better Than Me? Learning to Live Happily Ever After”

From the minute I was greeted at the door by Nancy's cousin I felt welcomed.  Her energy was amazing.  I bought tickets to help another BC survivor and mingled with the other ladies.  The band “John Khoury and His Hambones” were incredible and I even bought a pair of guitar earrings from one of the local vendors selling at the event.  What an amazing evening.  

After Nancy took the stage and had us all laughing - the energy was incredible in the building - she signed books, I bought 4 so I could share with my family.

Busy and fighting a cold

January came out of no where and with it I got busy and I also caught a bad cold.

I had a actor headshot session, a family session, an event, a ceremony and 2 pet sitting jobs as well as my full time job to deal with.

Long Beach, NY photos after Hurricane Sandy

the beach will never be the same after hurricane Sandy - so much sand is gone - the ocean was so angry
I have spent the last 2 days going to take photos and talk to people in Long Beach, NY.  There is a community down there like no other.
I talked to so many people about what they had been through.  there were 4 ft of sand in the streets at one point from what I was told.

Fireworks

I didn't get any photos of the fireworks on July 4 but I was able to capture some fireworks last night in the town I live in - I was like a little kid taking photos with my little point and shoot camera - the SLR batteries were both dead - go figure!!!!

Long Island Fringe Festival Sept 24-26, 2010
